Lehi has grown fast, and it's just over the Point of the Mountain from our Draper office. We work in new builds and older homes alike, from Traverse Mountain to the historic blocks around Main Street.
Around Lehi
Lehi is the center of population of Utah and the heart of the tech corridor known as Silicon Slopes, with Adobe, Ancestry and the flash memory plant Texas Instruments agreed to buy in 2021 all in town. It's also one of Utah's oldest cities. Lehi was incorporated in 1852, the sixth city in Utah, and its downtown is on the National Register as the Lehi Main Street Historic District.
Thanksgiving Point, with Ashton Gardens, the Museum of Ancient Life and the Museum of Natural Curiosity, sits near the Lehi FrontRunner station. The Outlets at Traverse Mountain are up on the north end of town, just over the Point of the Mountain from our Draper office.
Where Lehi's Water Comes From
Lehi City's Annual Water Quality Report says its sources include groundwater from five wells and a spring system in Alpine. Lehi also buys drinking water from the Central Utah Water Conservancy District.
That mix of well, spring and district water means the hardness at your tap can vary. Groundwater usually carries more hardness minerals than treated surface water.
Getting the Most From Your Water in Lehi
Lehi's water mixes city wells, a spring system and Central Utah Water Conservancy District water. If you're in a new build, that's the easiest time to add treatment, before scale builds up on brand-new fixtures, water heaters and appliances.
Water Softener and Water Treatment in Lehi
For most Lehi homes, a water softener and a Tankless Reverse Osmosis System cover scale and drinking water. New homes with big households often step up to a Dual-Tank Water Softener.
